Role Summary
This role offers a unique opportunity to spearhead the development and delivery of curatorial programs, connecting audiences with inspiring exhibitions and public offerings.
The Exhibitions and Public Programs Officer will lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of engaging exhibits that align with the organization's mission and vision.
Main Responsibilities:
* Conceptualize and deliver imaginative and distinctive permanent and temporary public programs that support the organization's strategic goals
* Nurture relationships with key stakeholders, donors, and staff from other institutions to identify curatorial opportunities and develop a significant collection
* Stay abreast of contemporary cultural and arts trends to inform programming decisions
* Establish and maintain professional networks within the industry to identify collaboration opportunities
* Foster effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Requirements:
* Satisfy Negative Vetting 1 (Secret) security clearance or have the ability to obtain one
* Possess tertiary qualifications in education and/or curatorial studies
* Demonstrate at least 2 years' experience in a learning environment or museum education setting
* Hold a current ACT Working with Vulnerable Peoples Card
