Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience as a cook or chef in a high-volume restaurant or casual fine-dining venue
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a cook or chef in a qualified kitchen environment
- Strong understanding of Aus food safety standards and hygiene
- Current Food Handler Certificate demonstrating knowledge of Australian food safety standards
- Resilient and able to perform in high-pressure service periods
- Strong work ethic and a "can do" attitude, bringing energy, creativity and a love for hospitality every day!
- Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team
- Excellent communication skills, allowing you to collaborate with a passionate team across multiple venues and contribute to menu development and seasonal specials.
- Full availability and willing to work a rotating roster that includes opening or closings shifts, weekends and public holidays.
- Pizza, grill and pastry experience highly regarded.
- Australian work rights will be considered on a case by case basis
