As a teacher at Lindisfarne Anglican Grammar School you will be responsible for delivering quality teaching and learning experiences that develop students' learning potential. This is an exceptional opportunity for a passionate educator dedicated to inspiring creativity among students. This is a fixed term position commencing in Term 4 2025, with the possibility of an extension for the 2026 academic year.
The salary will be commensurate with the successful applicant's skills, qualifications, and experience, based on the teaching salaries outlined in the Independent Schools NSW Teachers Cooperative Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2025 ($90,100 - $127,281).
Key Responsibilities
* Planning and delivery of engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
* Monitoring student progress through data analysis and assessment outcomes, using this information to inform teaching practices and interventions.
* Encouraging an inclusive environment that celebrates diversity and fosters creativity and critical thinking among students.
* Liaising with parents, carers and guardians to promote understanding of the importance of Creative Industries education.
Required Skills
* Exceptional proficiency in Textiles and Food Technology.
* Ability to teach across the full range of Creative Industries subjects.
* Demonstrated understanding of syllabus documents and assessment strategies.
* Demonstrated excellence and proficiency as a classroom teacher.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficient in using educational technology and digital resources.
Required Experience
* A minimum five years experience teaching Creative Industries (Textiles and Food Technology) at a secondary level is preferred.
* Appropriate Bachelor's degree in education or a related field and NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) accreditation.
