Job Description
The successful applicant will be responsible for managing the daily operations of our Before and After School Care services in the Wollongong Region. They will oversee the implementation of programs that promote intellectual, social, creative, emotional, and physical well-being among children.
Key Responsibilities
* Running the service with efficiency and effectiveness
* Preparing and delivering programmed activities for children
* Guiding and supporting staff to ensure they know their responsibilities
* Managing children's behavior with a positive approach
* Ensuring safe arrival and departure of children
Requirements
* Passion for working with children and having fun
* Strong leadership and teamwork skills
* Drive to exceed expectations of children, families, and community
* Experience in Outside School Hours Care, Primary Education, or Early Childhood Education
* Relevant qualifications in Outside School Hours Care or Early Childhood Education (desirable)
* Valid paid Working with Children Check
* First Aid, CPR, and Child Protection training (or willingness to obtain/renew)
