About the role:
Fleetwood RV Solutions is looking for an experienced and proactive Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse operations. The role will be based at our Somerton facility, with a possible transition to our Derrimut warehouse in 6-9 months.
As Warehouse Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day flow of goods in and out of the warehouse, managing inventory, and ensuring a safe, organised, and efficient workspace. But more than that—you’ll be a key leader within the business, setting the tone for a positive team culture and driving high standards across performance, safety, and service delivery.
Leading a mid-sized team, you'll be responsible for mentoring, training, and supporting your staff, helping them grow and perform at their best. You’ll work closely with other departments to resolve issues quickly, improve processes, and keep operations running smoothly. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys a hands-on approach, and takes pride in building strong, motivated teams.
The key responsibilities of the role are to:
* Maintain a culture of teamwork, resilience and high-performance to maximise employee potential
* Liaise with relevant departments regarding the impact of any efficiency improvements or changes
* Assist in the development of user guides, policies and procedures.
* Development and delivery of warehouse training through toolbox and training sessions as required.
* Liaise with internal Departments to resolve any customer service issues.
* Ensure business processes and controls are maintained
* Ensure efficient and economical use of facilities and resources
* Provide management of all receipting processes.
* Provide management of consumable products e.g., Packaging.
* Ensure the maintenance of forklifts and material handling devices is kept current.
* Ensure correct operation of mechanical and manual handling devices is undertaken.
* Management of housekeeping being maintained at a satisfactory level (i.e. remove strapping, packing and rubbish, excess gluts and other materials to maintain yard/work areas
* Manage stock take activity
About You:
You’re a confident and capable warehouse professional with a solid background in managing day-to-day operations and leading high-performing teams. With experience in warehousing and distribution—ideally using WMS and RF scanning systems—you understand the importance of accuracy, efficiency, and safety in a fast-paced environment. You hold a current forklift license and aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves when needed.
As a natural leader, you know how to bring out the best in your team. You’re approachable, organised, and solution-focused, with strong communication skills and a passion for creating a positive, productive workplace. Your ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a clear focus on customer service and continuous improvement sets you apart.
Experience in the recreational vehicle industry is a bonus, but not essential—we’re looking for someone with the right attitude, leadership qualities, and drive to contribute to a dynamic and growing business. To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:
* 2-3 years’ experience in a Warehouse Management role or similar
* Experience leading mid-sized teams from 10-20 employees
* A strong understanding of warehousing and distribution via WMS (RF scanning)
* Computing skills, particularly in MS Excel, Word and Outlook.
* Current forklift license
* Willing to undertake a hands-on approach
* Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise workload to meet demands
* Positive and approachable
* Strong verbal and written communications and customer service skills
* Experience in the warehousing and distribution.
* Recreational vehicle industry experience preferable but not essential
* The development of staff to deliver a stable appropriately skilled workforce.
