Financial Services partner with all areas of Comm Bank to specialist advice, support and services in finance, audit, treasury, property, procurement, climate strategy and investor relations.

This role sits within Group Treasury. The role of Group Treasury is to ensure the financial strength of the CBA Group in all operating environments. As a team, we have extensive authority to procure and manage the financial resources of the Group and hold significant execution, planning and risk management responsibilities.

We are a Sydney based team with at least half your time each month connecting in the office, allowing for flexibility to help you balance work and life.

As a Manager – Capital Reporting and Accuracy you will be part of a team driving strategic decision making in one Group Treasury’s key functions:

- Capital Accuracy & Reporting delivering internal capital reporting for the Group, providing analytics and insights to drive strategic and efficient use of the Group’s Balance Sheet, with a focus on credit risk-weighted assets. The team plays a crucial role in identifying and supporting the delivery of credit RWA accuracy initiatives. To deliver these outcomes, the team collaborate with cross functional teams including across Group Treasury, Finance and Risk.

You will make a significant impact through connecting different data sources to deliver insights, influencing decision-making, identifying opportunities to improve the accuracy of Group credit risk weighted assets and focusing on continuous improvement of the team’s processes.

Key responsibilities include:

- Month end processes and reporting to the Group Treasurer, Group CFO and Group CRO
- Analysis and insights on the Group’s Balance Sheet, credit risk weighted assets, credit models, data inputs and regulatory interpretations
- Peer benchmarking
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Change initiatives including impact assessments for regulatory and model changes
- Automation and continuous improvement of processes
- Adhere to the Code of Conduct. The Code of Conduct sets the standards of behaviour, actions and decisions we expect from our people.

We’re Interested in Hearing from People Who Have:

- 5+ years’ experience in the banking or financial services industry.
- Self-starter that can deliver within a fast-paced and changing environment and demonstrates the ability to work autonomously, proactively identify issues and escalate when necessary, without waiting for direction.
- Excellent data analytics skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights.
- Experience leveraging tools such as SQL, Alteryx and Python would be advantageous.
- Ability to apply critical thinking to propose solutions to new and different challenges and the ability to draw insights from data and market trends, including peer analysis.
- Track record of driving process innovation and continuous improvement in reporting or analytics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated understanding of APRA prudential standards and their application to risk-weighted asset calculations would be ideal.
- Advanced Microsoft Office Skills, including Powerpoint and Excel
- Knowledge of banking products and systems.
