Skillful Mechanical Engineer Wanted
Our organization is seeking a skilled Mechanical Designer with hands-on experience on projects ranging from conceptual design to detailed engineering. This role involves working on a diverse array of projects across the Mineral Processing industry.
About the Position
* Involved in the entire design process, from concept to detailed design, with a focus on Mechanical expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ability to convert an engineering concept into a 3D design.
2. Check drafting deliverables for accuracy and completeness.
3. Uphold quality standards and client requirements to complete tasks efficiently.
4. Create 3D designs from complex, multidiscipline engineering concepts.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* 3-7 years of industry experience in mining, minerals processing or heavy industries.
* A strong understanding of relevant Australian standards.
* Experience with projects from conceptual design through to detailed engineering.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and MicroStation 2D.
* Proficiency in AutoDesk 3D modelling programs, including AutoCAD Plant 3D.
* Ability to work autonomously.
* Previous skills or interests to expand into SMP design.
* Willingness to adapt to a changing role.
* Pointcloud Scanning skill are a benefit but not required.
* Proven skills in Advanced Steel.
