They partner with clients across government, insurance, financial services and other complex industries, combining technical expertise with practical commercial advice.
They are now seeking a Tender Manager to lead the function in a standalone, high‐impact role focused on growth, client retention and innovation.
Opportunity
This role combines traditional bid leadership with a genuine mandate to enhance how tenders are delivered through AI and smarter automation. You will manage the full tender lifecycle while also helping build and evolve AI capability across the proposal process—improving speed, consistency, content quality and win rates.
Key Responsibilities
* Own the end‐to‐end tender lifecycle across the Australian market
* Review tender requirements, evaluation criteria and commercial terms
* Develop strategic, compelling and compliant submissions
* Partner with senior stakeholders to shape messaging and win themes
* Use AI‐enabled tools to source, refine and enhance tender responses
* Help build out AI capability within the tender process and improve workflows
* Strengthen content libraries, case studies and reusable response assets
* Produce pitch decks and presentation materials
* Analyse tender outcomes and implement continuous improvement initiatives
* Ensure all submissions meet governance, risk and brand standards
About You
You are commercially minded, highly organised and comfortable operating autonomously. You enjoy both winning work and improving how work gets done. You will ideally bring:
* 4+ years' experience in bids, tenders or proposals
* Strong end‐to‐end bid ownership experience
* Exposure to Australian Federal Government tenders
* Interest or experience using AI tools in bid, content or workflow environments
* Strong writing, editing and stakeholder management capability
* Excellent project management skills and ability to manage competing deadlines
* Advanced Microsoft Word and PowerPoint skills
* Background in consulting, financial services, insurance or professional services advantageous
* A curious mindset with enthusiasm for innovation and continuous improvement
