About the Position
Partnerships have been established with the Department of Climate Change, Water, and the Environment to lead the recruitment of data analysts/modellers within the Electricity Division.
The Electricity Division is accountable for managing the transition to net zero by 2050. The Division will provide strategic advice and analysis to facilitate the security, affordability, and reliability of electricity in Australia during this transformation period.
Key Responsibilities and Skills
We are seeking an experienced data and economic analyst/modeler with a proven track record of working with large datasets, utilizing popular programming languages. You will be confident in both verbal and written communication, while maintaining proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerBI.
Responsibilities and Requirements
These opportunities focus on the manipulation, analysis, and modelling of energy sector related data, supporting policy development. Additionally, you will assist in the development of new modelling tools to enhance future processes.

Essential Qualifications
* Relevant work experience in the energy sector or similar industry
