We are inviting Expressions of Interest from experienced property and development professionals interested in joining our Sydney Economics & Property - Development Advisory team at Associate Director level.
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded leader who thrives in a consulting environment and is passionate about delivering complex urban development projects from strategy through to delivery.
As an Associate Director, you will lead and manage high‐profile urban renewal and development projects, strengthen client relationships, contribute to business growth, and support the ongoing development of a high‐performing team. Working alongside industry‐leading specialists across planning, economics, design and advisory, you will have the opportunity to collaborate on transformative projects that create lasting impact for clients, communities and cities.
Your role
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Lead the planning, delivery and implementation of complex development and urban renewal projects
* Manage projects through the full lifecycle including strategy, procurement, construction and project close‐out
* Lead commercial and contract negotiations with consultants, contractors and stakeholders
* Build and maintain strong long‐term client and industry relationships
* Drive business development opportunities and contribute to profitable business growth
* Provide financial oversight including forecasting, budgeting and project management reporting
* Mentor and develop team members through coaching and leadership
* Collaborate across Urbis and multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated client outcomes
About you
You will bring:
* Proven experience within a consultancy or property‐related environment
* Strong project leadership and stakeholder management capability across complex projects
* Commercial acumen with experience managing contracts, budgets and project delivery outcomes
* Demonstrated ability to build trusted client relationships and identify business opportunities
* Strong communication and people leadership skills, with experience mentoring and developing teams
* High proficiency across Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Project
