Job Title: Professional Claims Specialist
About the Role
This critical position involves managing a diverse portfolio of professional and financial risks claims in accordance with established policies and procedures to ensure timely and cost-effective outcomes.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Manage a portfolio of professional and financial risk claims from validation to finalisation in a timely and efficient manner, adhering to Service Standard requirements.
* Determine suitable contract coverage, including indemnity, legal liability, and quantum issues.
* Appoint, instruct, and liaise with service providers, such as solicitors, brokers, investigators, and loss adjusters.
* Maintain realistic and adequate reserves/estimates on all claims, reflecting ongoing claims costs, and closely monitor significant estimate fluctuations.
The Ideal Candidate
* Experience in managing portfolios of professional indemnity and liability claims is highly desirable.
* A minimum of insurance claims experience is mandatory.
* The ability to develop solutions and courses of action using analytical skills and information-based decision-making.
