Community Social Visit Volunteer - Bring Joy to a Dog-Loving Senior Batemans Bay
A Social Visits Volunteer who can make a meaningful difference - One visit at a time
Are you someone who enjoys a good chat? How about a coffee and cake? We're looking for a kind‑hearted dog‑loving volunteer to visit a thoughtful elderly gentleman who's feeling a bit lonely and his cute little pooch. Your time and company could make a world of difference. A friendly visit, a shared story, or a chat over a cuppa could truly lift his spirits.
Your impact
Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit and for yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.
HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.
HammondCare
