Kariong OOSH is a community run Outside of School Hours Care service providing before school, after school and vacation care at our OOSH service located in Kariong Neighbourhood Centre.
Providing a fun, safe and supportive environment where children can build friendships, explore their world and be part of the wider community, our amazing team of educators are the key to creating this nurturing and engaging environment.
About the role:
Working collaboratively with a team of like-minded professionals, you will oversee the development and implementation of daily routines and programs to ensure the safety, security and well-being of children in care.

Able to recognise the needs of children and contribute to the planning of OOSH activities.
Calm and resourceful in an emergency or stressful situation.
Committed to safeguarding children and young people and willing to obtain Identify and Respond to Children at Risk Certificate .
Able to work as part of a team and lead others to deliver a quality education and care service.
Previous experience working with children in an education and care setting is essential.
What you will need:
* Experience in an education and care setting
* A current Working with Children Check
* A relevant qualification (e.g. Certificate 3, Diploma in Children's Services), or a willingness to obtain
* Current and valid First Aid, Anaphylaxis, Asthma and CPR Certificate and training in child protection, or willingness to obtain
* Availability to work morning and afternoon shifts and day shifts in school holidays.
* A full driver's licence is preferred.
