We have an exciting opportunity for a Permanent Full time Test Analyst to join the Case Services Team, Digital Office, Ministry of Justice.

Job Description

As part of the Case Services team, you will be working as a Test Analyst, responsible for test planning, design and execution of acceptance testing for products, services and projects. Test Analysts work closely with Project Managers, Technical Product Leads and Business Managers to ensure effective and efficient acceptance testing occurs, providing business stakeholders with confidence in the delivered solution. This position reports to the Continuous Improvement Manager, Case Services. We provide a supportive, inclusive environment where you can bring the best of you to the job. The Test Analyst is responsible for testing and acceptance activities for the Case Services team, defining the testing approach and scope for each release or delivery, estimating and planning testing effort to ensure high‐quality outcomes are achieved. The position is hands‐on, requiring active involvement in test scripting and execution across services.

Role

To be successful in this role you will be able to communicate effectively, have good attention to detail, the ability to learn rapidly and be focussed on delivering high‐quality outcomes to our customers. You will also have:

* Intermediate level experience as a test analyst (2 to 3 years)
* Experience in test planning, test scripting and test execution
* Basic competence in current market computing technologies, Windows and Microsoft products
* Good written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong analytical, planning and organisational skills
* Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
* Some technical skills such as SQL and test automation desirable but not necessary.
* The role will provide some exposure to technical tools with opportunities to learn these skills and develop your career.

Salary

The appointing salary for this role will be between $82,770 and $112,332 based on skills and experience.
