Crane Operator Job Description
This job involves operating a crane to construct and maintain overhead electrical networks. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for safely operating specialized plant and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist electrical line workers in completing tasks efficiently
* Conduct thorough risk assessments and job safety analysis prior to commencing work at each site
* Support various crews in upgrading and maintaining the network while prioritizing safety
* Meet customer requirements by completing work tasks within specified timeframes
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will require relevant experience working in a similar capacity within the construction industry. Additionally, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:
* A valid HR Driver's License with a Heavy Combination (HC) endorsement
* A current Work Safe License to Perform High-Risk Work with C2 Endorsement
* Knowledge and understanding of electrical legislation, codes, and standards of practice, allowing you to work safely in an electrical environment
