Senior Dietitian, Grade 3 – 0.6 FTE, part‐time Fixed Term Contract 12 months
We are seeking an experienced Senior Dietitian with strong leadership and a passion in progressive neurological diseases and palliative care to join our dynamic multidisciplinary team at Calvary Health Care Bethlehem.

About The Role
You will join our Dietetics team which provides clinical services to the 32‐bed inpatient ward, and the State‐wide Progressive Neurological Disorders Service (SPNDS) outpatient clinic. As a Senior Dietitian you will provide clinical leadership and support to the team whilst also providing high quality clinical care to our patients (of both inpatient & outpatient services). The role also involves participation in departmental quality improvement activities and education provision. Supervision is provided as well as great opportunities for professional development.
What you bring
* Minimum of seven years' clinical experience, including in a hospital setting. Ideally with specialist experience in a clinical area of 3 years.
* A patient‐focused approach to service provision.
* Experience with enteral nutrition and home enteral nutrition program essential. Management in gastrostomy care highly desirable.
* Demonstrated clinical expertise and leadership and particular specialist knowledge in a recognised clinical area. Experience in progressive neurological diseases, palliative care & oncology desirable.
* Demonstrated ability to undertake professional supervision and promote professional competence of other dietetic staff and students.
* Demonstrated dietetic research and quality improvement skills including a strategic approach to planning and development, data analysis and project management.
* High level of communication and interpersonal skills that promote teamwork and a proven ability to relate effectively to people at all levels in the organisation.
* High level written skills with demonstrated ability in policy and procedure development and implementation, and submission writing.
Qualifications
* Tertiary qualification in Nutrition & Dietetics.
* Eligible for membership of Dietitians Australia (DA) and the Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) Program.
Desirable
* A relevant postgraduate qualification, or working towards its completion – Minimum of Graduate Certificate.
