SALARY OF $120K + SUPER
- OFFICE BASED ROLE LOCATED IN TULLAMARINE
- DISABILITY SECTOR EXP AND A DEGREE IN HUMAN RESOURCES PREFERRED

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
- The HR Manager's role is to manage the recruitment, induction, training and exiting of staff to ensure the organisation is fully compliant with all relative legalisations. Their role is also to facilitate well-being and culture in the workplace and to foster a workplace where everyone works to realise our established mission and objectives. They will be required to manage the administrative and compliance functions related to all aspects of employment. They also need to maintain a focus on Industrial Relations and OH&S within the workplace. This position is also required to provide advice to the Executive on employment issues including industrial relations and participate in the development and review of policies and procedures related to employment.

MINIMUM CRITERIA
- Degree in Human Resources or qualification in Business Administration or equivalent (preferred) and experience in the role.
- Knowledge and experience in employment law, Worksafe, Workcover. OH&S, organisational planning and development, employee engagement and development.
- A complete understanding of the end-to-end recruitment process.
- Previous experience in a People & Culture role.
- Experience interpreting the Social, Community, Homecare and Disability Workers (SCHADS) Industry Award.
- Comprehensive knowledge of organisation policies and procedures.
- Experience and skill in industrial relations issues management.
- Appreciation of the long-term goals of the organisation.
- Sound discipline knowledge gained through extensive experience.
- Strategic analysis and planning experience.

- Be an Australian citizen; or a permanent resident of Australia or New Zealand citizen who has entered Australia on a valid passport; or a non-citizen with a valid visa that provides work rights in Australia.
- Current Working with Children's Check.
- Satisfactory Referee Checks and Employment History.
- Satisfactory Disability Workers Exclusion Check, Out-of-home care disqualified carer check and carer register undertaken by the organisation.
- Satisfactory NDIS Screening check.
