Plattsburg Public School is located within the suburb of Wallsend and has a proud history of more than 150 years of public education. The school acknowledge that they teach and learn on Awabakal land. The school enrolment is 196 students with 42 identifying as Aboriginal and 54 as having a non-English speaking background. The school focuses on providing individualised learning opportunities, access to technology, cultural experiences and wellbeing programs. The school fosters a culture of positivity, high expectations and motivation to empower students to connect, thrive, learn and succeed.
