Job Summary
We are seeking a Strategic Communications Director to lead our national communications function.
This is an exciting opportunity to drive influence and change through strategic planning and execution.
You will report directly to the Director of Policy, Communications and Strategic Engagement.
Your primary responsibility will be designing and delivering strategies that showcase our work and values.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement a comprehensive communications strategy that drives visibility and influence
* Lead major projects and campaigns, managing them from concept to delivery
* BUILD A STRONG MEDIA PROFILE AND MANAGE MULTI-CHANNEL DIGITAL COMMUNICATIONS
* SHAPE MESSAGING THAT RESONATES WITH GOVERNMENT, INDUSTRY, AND COMMUNITY AUDIENCES
* Mentor and support team members, creating a collaborative and creative culture
* Contribute to organisational strategy, planning, and reporting
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Strong experience in communications, corporate affairs, or strategic engagement
* Demonstrated project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives at once
* A record of building and delivering communications strategies that achieve results
* Excellent writing, messaging, and stakeholder engagement skills
* The ability to lead and support others, with a collaborative leadership style
* A passion for purpose-driven work and a values-led approach
