Leisure & Activities Officer Role
This is a part-time opportunity to work in the leisure and lifestyle team, ensuring the design, development and implementation of special programs to meet the needs of residents.
About the Role
We are seeking an individual who can conduct programs to support the autonomy and independence of each resident, creating a fun and relaxing environment.
Our community provides quality care for up to 41 residents, and we offer a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop and implement special programs to meet the needs of residents
* Conduct programs to support the autonomy and independence of each resident
* Provide quality care and support to residents
Requirements
* Leisure & Lifestyle Certificate Level IV or other relevant qualification (Essential)
* Current First Aid Certificate
* Experience in the planning, implementation and evaluation of activities for frail people with cognitive impairment and disabilities
* Ability to document assessments, care plans and progress notes
* Sensitivity to and understanding of the needs and interests of residents
* Strong communication skills
* Current NSW Drivers Licence
