As our Conference & Events Sales Manager, you will lead the end-to-end sales and delivery lifecycle—from initial enquiry and conversion through to planning and execution—ensuring both revenue targets and guest expectations are exceeded. Working closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing, as well as our Kitchen and Food & Beverage teams, you’ll balance strategic sales focus with operational excellence to deliver outstanding results. What You’ll Be Doing Proactively manage and convert inbound enquiries into confirmed events Drive revenue through strategic selling, upselling, and account development Identify and secure new business opportunities across corporate, MICE, and social segments Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships to generate repeat business Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless event execution and service delivery Manage forecasting, reporting, and budgeting to achieve financial and commercial targets Deliver exceptional, personalised event experiences with strong attention to detail Lead, coach, and support a small team to drive performance and engagement What We’re Looking For Minimum 3 years’ experience in conference & events, sales, or a similar revenue-focused role Proven track record in converting business and driving revenue growth Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify and maximise opportunities Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills A proactive, results-driven approach with a strong focus on client satisfaction Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Experience with Opera PMS and Delphi (or similar systems) is advantageous Relevant qualification in Hospitality, Events, or a related field (preferred) What You’ll Get Staff rates and dining discounts across 7000 IHG Hotels globally A supportive, collaborative team culture Career development and growth opportunities within a global brand A role where your ideas, initiative, and commercial mindset are valued Paid birthday leave We are proud to be an inclusive employer and celebrate diversity in all its forms.
