The Role
We are seeking an energetic, committed and customer-oriented Maintenance Officer to become an integral part of our team on a part-time basis, with working days are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 7:00AM - 12:00PM.
Beautifully set between rolling green hills and the crystal-clear waters of the Coral, this location is conveniently within easy access to public transport and shopping precincts. This contemporary village is defined by its sense of community with friendly residents enjoying elegant living in a coastal location.
As a Maintenance Officer, your duties will include:
1. Carry out general maintenance, repairs, and minor improvements across the village.
2. Complete preventative maintenance tasks and inspections.
3. Assist with setting up for village events and activities.
4. Coordinate and supervise external contractors on-site when required.
5. Respond promptly and professionally to residents' maintenance requests.
6. Ensure communal areas, gardens, and facilities are well-maintained and safe.
7. Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used and update databases accordingly.
Your Background
The successful candidate will have the following:
1. Previous experience in a maintenance, handyman, or trade role.
2. An understanding of machinery use and tools required for various repairs.
3. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
4. Good communication skills and a positive, customer-focused attitude.
5. Basic computer skills to update maintenance records.
6. A current driver's license is required to drive residents to events occasionally.
7. Trade qualifications (highly regarded but not essential).
8. A commitment to workplace safety and high service standards.
9. A current First Aid Certificate/ CPR (or be willing to obtain one).
