As a Wood-Fired Pizza Chef, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality pizzas using a traditional wood-fired oven. You will play a key role in maintaining food standards, kitchen efficiency, and a positive team culture.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook pizzas using a wood-fired oven to a high standard
* Manage dough preparation, stretching, topping, and baking
* Monitor oven temperature and maintain proper fire control
* Ensure consistency, speed, and quality during service
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pizza station
* Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards
* Assist with stock control, prep, and waste minimization
* Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff
* Contribute to menu development and daily specials (desirable)
