The Role: An Australian-based IT and Cyber Security consulting firm with over 20 years’ industry experience is seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect to lead secure, scalable, multi-cloud solutions for high-profile clients across government, defence, finance, and transport. Key Responsibilities: Architect and implement Azure, AWS, and hybrid environments. Lead Infrastructure as Code delivery using Terraform, Bicep, and CloudFormation. Drive automation and CI/CD optimisation with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and AWS CodePipeline. Embed Zero Trust models and compliance frameworks (Essential Eight, IRAP, GDPR, PCI DSS). Deliver high-impact cloud migration and transformation projects. Mentor engineers and uplift governance via reusable templates and standardised policies. Support FinOps and cost optimisation initiatives. Skills and Experience: 10 years in cloud architecture and infrastructure delivery. Proven experience across Azure and AWS platforms. Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks in regulated environments. Hands-on expertise with DevOps tools, automation, and observability. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Relevant certifications such as AZ-305, AZ-500, or AWS Solutions Architect Associate. Baseline security clearance (or ability to obtain). Why This Role?
