YOUR NEW ROLE
As a Rehabilitation Consultant you will identify and address critical physical, psychological, social, environmental and organisational risk factors that may impact a worker's ability to return to work. You will provide strategies to address these factors in practice.
Responsibilities
* Complete return‐to‐work case management for injured workers under the WorkCover scheme
* Provide holistic support to restore an individual to the highest level of functional performance through relevant assessments such as Initial Needs Assessment, Workplace Assessments and Vocational Assessments
* Deliver vocational counselling and facilitate interventions, well‐being programmes, training and upskilling
* Collaborate and liaise with individuals, employers, medical and other allied health professionals
Qualifications
* AHPRA registration as a Provisional Psychologist (5+1 or 4+2 internship) supported by a relevant qualification in Psychology or ASORC membership as a Rehabilitation Counsellor supported by a relevant qualification in Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling
* Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
* Current Police Clearance and Working with Children Check
* Full working rights in Australia
