Community Engagement Worker for Alcohol and Other Drugs
We invite you to join our team in a role that combines community engagement with treatment support to reduce the impact of problematic drug and alcohol use.
The successful candidate will provide assertive follow-up to community-based referrals, work with clients to address lifestyle issues, and help them achieve their treatment goals. This is an opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives as part of a multidisciplinary drug and alcohol team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide engagement in treatment to reduce the impact of problematic drug and alcohol use
* Support clients to prevent relapse and improve their psychosocial status
* Identify and address barriers to accessing treatment
Requirements:
* Temporary Part Time position available (24 weeks)
* Position Classification: Psychologist, Registered Nurse, Counsellor Lvl 1/2, Occupational Therapist Lvl 1/2, Social Worker Lvl 1/2
* Remuneration: $72,152.53 - $101,299.48 per annum, pro rata - dependent on qualifications
* Hours Per Week: 28
