Job Opportunity:
We are seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Comprehensive clinical assessment and review of resident care needs
* Facilitate and coordinate the admission process for new residents
* Provide leadership and promote a collaborative approach to clinical and care staff to ensure delivery of person-centred care
* Actively support and work cohesively with the clinical care and allied health team
* Provide comprehensive review and oversight of residents' care needs and outcomes
* Monitor and minimise clinical risk and meet clinical quality KPIs
* Identify changes in residents care needs in support of appropriate AN-ACC classification and funding
* Identify and support the development and clinical capability of the clinical care team
* Review and investigation of clinical incidents
Requirements:
* Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
* Relevant postgraduate studies - desirable
* Demonstrated experience in a leadership role in aged care
* Strong communication, problem solving skills, interpersonal skills and team work
* A comprehensive working knowledge of Legislation governing aged care including best practice guidelines and other relevant professional codes of practice
* Demonstrated working knowledge of continuous improvement, the Aged Care Act, Aged Care Quality Standards, AN-ACC funding, assessment processes and care planning
* Knowledge of OSH requirements in a health care setting
* Satisfactorily pass all relevant Key Personnel checks including Bankruptcy and Police Clearance
