About the Opportunity
Main Roads Western Australia is the State Government agency responsible for managing and developing WA's road network—over 18,500 km of roads across 2.5 million square kilometres. We plan, build and maintain a $46 billion state asset, working closely with the Department of Transport and Major Infrastructure, Public Transport Authority and local governments to deliver an integrated, world‑class transport system.
This is a key leadership role focused on delivering measurable outcomes for the safety, reliability and performance of the State Road Network across the South West. As Director South West Region, you will lead the direction, operational delivery and long‑term planning for the South West Region. Your remit will span regional program development, project delivery and stakeholder engagement to ensure the network continues to support the South West regional community.
To be successful you will demonstrate the capability to lead regional operations with clear objectives, consistency and influence outcomes across complex road infrastructure, project, contract and stakeholder scenarios. You will be an effective leader able to negotiate, collaborate and facilitate across local governments, industry partners and community representatives, fostering continuous improvement and professional development for yourself and your teams.
