An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced and motivated Senior Renal Pharmacist to join the Pharmacy Department at Bundaberg Hospital. This role is ideal for a clinician with strong renal expertise who is passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centred care within a multidisciplinary team. Your Opportunity:The purpose of this role is to deliver a client focussed, high quality clinical pharmacy service within the multidisciplinary renal team, and as a member of Bundaberg Hospital‘s pharmacy team by:Delivering high quality evidenced based medicines management and clinical pharmacy services to renal patients within a high functioning multidisciplinary renal team.Contributing to the advancement of quality pharmacy services and optimal patient care, through service development, quality improvement, research and clinical education.Providing supervision to less experienced pharmacists and pharmacy assistants and training to health professionals, students and pharmacy staff
What we're looking for:Knowledge and high level clinical skills required to deliver a high-level renal pharmacy service across a variety of service models.High level of communication, time management and interpersonal skills evidenced through effective consultation, advice provision and assistance to professional peers and other staff in relation to pharmacy services; effective work practice within a multi-disciplinary health care team.An ability to train, educate and provide leadership to multidisciplinary staff ensuring that the needs of the pharmacy clients are met in the most efficient, economical & ethical manner.Demonstrated ability to initiate, plan and evaluate local service improvement activities and provide advice to managers and relevant stakeholders.Personal and professional values that align with the WBHHS values and BBH Pharmacy and Renal team values including equity, honesty, integrity and respect for all patients, carers and staff.
Preferred Qualifications:Mandatory possession of a qualification from a registered tertiary institution as a Pharmacist and Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency with a current annual practicing certificate is essential.Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and if applicable registration or membership with the appropriate registration authority or association. Certified copies of the required information must be provided to the appropriate supervisor/manager, prior to the commencement of clinical duties.

Our offer: You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $78,680 p.a., comprising salary rates $64.64 - $69.56 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP4) (Permanent Part Time 38 hours p.f.).
