Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our integrated team, you will be responsible for providing statutory reporting services to corporate clients on a day-to-day basis.
Your primary objective will be to oversee and supervise the provision of statutory reporting services, including coordination with client and auditor stakeholders. You will also be responsible for managing and delivering full-spectrum corporate financial reporting services based on client needs, with support from experienced Financial Accounting and Advisory and Tax technicians.
To excel in this role, you must have detailed knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards gained through working in a professional services firm or a comparable industry. Experience in working with remote teams, both within Australia and overseas, is also essential. Strong communication skills, including confidence in leading discussions with clients on technical matters and engagement coordination, are necessary.
Additionally, you should demonstrate high accuracy with prioritization and organizational skills, as well as hold a CA qualification or equivalent completed or in progress.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Owning and coordinating the provision of statutory reporting services to an allocated book of corporate clients on a day-to-day basis.
* Supervision of the statutory reporting services we provide, including coordination of client and auditor stakeholders.
* Management and delivery of the full spectrum of corporate financial reporting services based on where our clients' needs take us with full support from some of Australia's best Financial Accounting and Advisory and Tax technicians.
* Building networks and meaningful connections internally and externally to stay abreast of issues and build a pipeline of future opportunities.
* Supervision of team members and support for their career development.
