The RoleThe Taxation and Reporting Accountant leads the team that handles tax and financial reporting for the Department and client agencies. The role makes sure tax returns are accurate, policies and procedures are in place, reports are managed, and clients get advice on tax and reporting matters
To be successful in this role you will ideally have extensive experience in taxation compliance and financial reporting within complex organisations; come from a public sector, professional services, or corporate accounting background; with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and stakeholder communication; have strong analytical, leadership, and IT skills.
