Job Opportunity: Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner
We deliver specialist therapy services to individuals with complex needs and challenging behaviours. Our team works throughout Perth Metro and regional Western Australia, providing office locations in Canning Vale and Osborne Park.
* A relevant qualification in an Allied Health background or Behavioral Science is essential.
* Experience working with complex needs and challenging behaviours is required.
* Working with Children's card, National police clearance and current driving license are necessary for the role.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are vital for this position.
* Familiarity with the NDIS Quality and Safeguard Commission guidelines is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
* Indirect and direct assessment including observations and data collection are key responsibilities of this role.
* Supporting individuals with disability, their carers, family and significant others is a critical aspect of this job.
* Providing training and support in interventions and strategies outlined in behaviour support plans is essential.
* Collaborating with participants to meet person-centered goals is a primary focus of this role.
* Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team is highly valued.
