Urban Planning Opportunity
This role involves contributing to the preparation of high-impact land use planning and policy projects. You will work closely with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional results.
Responsibilities
* Prepare statutory land use planning projects, including development applications, land use studies, compliance assessments, and highest and best use analysis.
* Provide expert planning analysis and advice informed by current government policies, regional priorities, and stakeholder needs.
* Collaborate with internal and external teams, including specialists in economics, urban design, transport, infrastructure advisory, community planning, and stakeholder engagement.
* Develop and review reports, presentations, and public-facing documents that communicate complex planning concepts clearly.
Requirements
* Tertiary qualifications in Urban and Regional Town Planning or a related discipline.
* Minimum 1 - 2 years' experience within an Urban Planning firm-based environment.
* Sound knowledge of statutory planning and legislation, ideally gained in a consultancy or local/State government environment.
