The Opportunity
Veolia is seeking a skilled and motivated SCADA Engineer to join our team in Cameron Park, 2285. Reporting to the Alliance Process & Sustainability Manager, you will be responsible for the technical implementation and management of SCADA controls updates across Veolia operated Hunter Water treatment facilities. This role requires strong collaboration with operational teams, stakeholders, and subcontractors to ensure seamless and compliant modifications to control systems.

What you'll be responsible for
* Develop and implement SCADA change scopes in collaboration with operational teams
* Liaise with stakeholders, including Hunter Water, to seek approvals for modifications
* Conduct engineering, technical support, and troubleshooting for Operational Technology systems
* Ensure change management processes are followed and documentation is up to date
* Employ risk-based strategies to maximise plant and process uptime
* Manage subcontractors and provide technical and operational support
* Support supervisors and teams in maintaining safety standards and business continuity
* Participate in emergency and incident management, audits, and safety management systems
* Maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
What you'll need to be successful
* Relevant Engineering or Trade qualifications
* Demonstrated experience in maintenance of process control systems, PLC, SCADA, and operational IT infrastructure
* Sound knowledge of industrial processes and related equipment
