The Role
Financial Systems and Operations Branch within Defence Finance Group is calling for applications from talented individuals to provide leadership, technical expertise and exceptional customer in their Financial Operations Management area.
There are two separate positions available: one focused on accounts payable and the other on credit card management. You will play a pivotal role in managing day-to-day operations across a range of functions in a geographically dispersed team across ACT, SA, VIC and QLD. You will also manage change, and influence behaviour to promote a supportive and inclusive culture as Defence Finance continues to evolve.
You will provide exemplary customer service to the whole of Defence on complex financial operations issues and technical enquiries, while ensuring service level standards are achieved.
Financial Systems and Operations provides support to the whole of Defence. This may necessitate variable start and finish times to meet business outcomes within our bandwidth.
The Accounts Payable role requires a baseline security level, the Credit Card role requires a negative vetting 1 security level.

The team is responsible for the effective delivery of day-to-day financial processing and support services and are responsible for the management of Credit Cards and Accounts Payable. Eligibility
Security Clearance:
Accounts Payable Role
Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance at “Baseline Vetting” level.
Credit Card Role
Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance at “Negative Vetting Level 1”.
