Role Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Building Manager for an on-site, full-time position in Melbourne, VIC. In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of residential or commercial properties, ensuring they are well-maintained, secure, and compliant with regulations. Core responsibilities include managing facility services, coordinating maintenance and repairs, liaising with tenants and stakeholders, supervising on‐site teams, and ensuring the smooth operation of building systems.
Qualifications
* Strong knowledge of Building Management, Facility Management, and Maintenance Coordination.
* Experience overseeing onsite services such as Cleaning, Security, and Gardening while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
* Excellent leadership, team management, and organizational skills.
* Ability to communicate effectively with tenants, staff, contractors, and stakeholders, ensuring satisfaction and issue resolution.
* Problem‐solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to resolving challenges related to building operations.
* Experience with budgeting, financial management, and ensuring cost‐efficient operations.
* Knowledge of compliance requirements and occupational health and safety regulations in a property management context.
* Proficiency with property management software and other relevant digital tools is advantageous.
* Qualification or prior experience in Facility Management, Real Estate, or a related field will be considered an asset.
