Personal Support Worker
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our dedicated care team in Gladstone. As a valued member of our team, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for elderly clients by providing person-centred support that empowers them to live independently and comfortably in their own homes.
About the Role
In this rewarding position, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care services to clients, including:
* Assisting with personal care tasks such as bathing, showering, grooming, and dressing while upholding each client's dignity and comfort
* Delivering personalised care based on the unique preferences, routines, and needs of each client
* Supporting with daily living activities, both in-home and in the community, including meal preparation, basic household duties, personal hygiene, mobility assistance, transportation to medical appointments and social outings, companionship, and social support
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Personal Care Worker
* Certificate III in Individual Support or Aged Care (or an equivalent qualification)
* A driver's licence and vehicle
* Current Car Insurance & Car Registration
* National police check
* First aid & CPR
* Blue Card
