Renewable Energy Development Assessment Manager
This pivotal role will lead the assessment of applications for solar farms and wind farms in Queensland, ensuring that renewable energy developments meet rigorous environmental and planning standards while aligning with the State's commitment to sustainability and regional growth.
* Lead complex assessments of large-scale renewable energy projects under the Planning Act 2016.
* Apply and interpret State Development Assessment Provisions (SDAP) including State Code 23 (Wind Farm Development) and State Code 26 (Solar Farm Development).
* Engage with stakeholders including developers, local governments, First Nations communities, and the public to ensure transparent, inclusive planning outcomes.
