The Opportunity
We're seeking experienced professionals to support our team in managing contracts for infrastructure projects in remote South Australia. This role involves working on projects that have a direct impact on remote communities, providing contract administration, commercial advice, and compliance oversight. You will be responsible for managing multiple construction and infrastructure contracts, leading and mentoring teams, and building strong relationships with contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
Your Role and Responsibilities
* Managing multiple construction and infrastructure contracts in remote South Australia
* Providing contract administration, commercial advice, and compliance oversight
* Leading and mentoring teams, supporting succession planning for government staff
* Building strong relationships with contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders
* Contributing to improved systems, reporting, risk management, and safety practices
You'll need:
* Minimum 5 years of experience in infrastructure project delivery and contract management
* Relevant tertiary qualifications
* Current Driver's Licence
* Demonstrated experience managing contracts up to $50M
* Strong commercial acumen, stakeholder management, and cultural sensitivity
* Ability to work in remote locations, including overnight stays and varied hours
