AWE is seeking experienced Field Service Heavy-Duty Diesel Fitters to join our growing team. This role is suited to a high-performing technician who thrives in a fast-paced field environment, enjoys autonomy, and takes pride in delivering high-quality maintenance support across mobile mining equipment.
Key Responsibilities
* Attend breakdowns across client sites and complete high-quality field repairs.
* Conduct diagnostics, fault-finding, and troubleshooting on mobile plant.
* Perform scheduled maintenance, component change-outs, and preventative repairs.
* Work on a variety of mining equipment, including trucks, loaders, graders, dozers, diggers, and drill rigs.
* Liaise with planners, supervisors, and site personnel to coordinate work.

To be considered, you must have the following:
* Valid C-class driver's licence.
* Australian Recognised Trade Certificate.
* Strong diagnostics and fault-finding skills.
* Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
* Strong field service experience in mining environments.
* Police check dated within the last 6 months. (or willing to obtain)
* Pass a Pre-employment Medical and Drug and Alcohol Screen.
* Experience on OEM equipment such as CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi, Liebherr, Sandvik, Epiroc, etc.
