Enterprise Information Architect required support a key engagement with a local Council. This short-term contract will focus on reviewing and modernising the organisation’s Information Architecture to align with Microsoft 365 capabilities and contemporary information governance practices. You will play a critical role in assessing the Council’s current information structures and designing a future-state Information Architecture that supports effective document management, governance, and records compliance. Key Responsibilities Audit and assess the Council’s current Information Architecture across systems and repositories, including metadata and classification structures, and information governance structures. Engage stakeholders through interviews and workshops to understand business requirements and current challenges. Design a future-state Information Architecture aligned with M365 capabilities, Council business functions and records management obligations. Develop a practical, reusable IA blueprint that can be consistently applied across Sharepoint Online, Microsoft Teams and other M365 services. Skills & Experience Proven experience as an Enterprise Information Architect or similar role. Demonstrated experience designing Information Architecture for Microsoft 365 environments (SharePoint Online, Teams). Strong knowledge of information governance, records management, and metadata frameworks. Experience conducting information architecture audits and stakeholder workshops. Ability to translate complex technical and governance requirements into practical frameworks and blueprints. Strong communication and presentation skills, including experience presenting to executive stakeholders.
