Junior Document Controller Role
The Junior Document Controller will assist in the coordination and delivery of project Configuration Management (CM) activities in accordance with the CM Plan.
* Supports the Configuration Management Lead in the day-to-day delivery of CM project activities and deliverables, helping to meet both project and Austal objectives.
* Effective CM activity on this project will support customer acceptance of each vessel and enable successful handover to sustainment activities.
* Identifies process improvement opportunities and supports the implementation of CM functions — planning, identification, control, status accounting, and auditing.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the coordination and delivery of project CM activities.
* Ensure accurate capture of configuration information/changes within Teamcenter Unified.
* Regularly report CM status.
* Act on behalf of the CM Lead in their absence.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Essential: Health and Safety Construction White Card, Certificate IV or higher level in a technical discipline.
* Desirable: Relevant maritime degree or trade qualification preferred.
