Your new role
As the Facilities Manager, you will oversee the day‑to‑day operations of a commercial building. Your responsibilities will include:
* Managing building services, maintenance, and contractor performance
* Ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory and operational standards
* Coordinating reactive and preventative maintenance activities
* Overseeing inspections, site audits, work orders, and reporting
* Building strong relationships with tenants, service providers, and internal stakeholders
* Supporting budgeting, invoicing, and procurement activities related to facilities services
* Responding promptly to building issues, risks, or incidents as they arise
What you'll need to succeed
The following will be highly regarded:
* Previous experience in Facilities Management within commercial property
* Strong understanding of building operations, contractor management, and compliance
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Ability to work autonomously, prioritise effectively, and handle competing demands
* High attention to detail with strong organisational skills
* Sound computer literacy, including FM systems and standard software applications
