Brighter Futures Consulting is a local business based in Darwin. We proudly provide NDIS services across the Northern Territory, offering Support Coordination, Specialist Support Coordination, Behaviour Support, and Speech Pathology to clients in metropolitan, rural, and remote areas. We've also recently expanded to Wilcannia, NSW, and surrounding communities. We are currently looking for experienced Support Coordinators or Specialist Support Coordinators to join our team for a Darwin based role.
Key Requirements:
* Experience working as a Support Coordinator/ Case Manager
* A bachelor's degree in social work, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Psychology, Nursing or another Allied Health (Specialist Support Coordinators)
* Demonstrated well-developed oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
* Demonstrated ability to work well independently and cooperatively as a member of a team.
* Established ability to listen actively and demonstrate empathy.
* Well-developed organisational skills, the ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks.
* Working with Children card; NDIS Worker Screening; Police check (within 6 months); current Drivers Licence and roadworthy vehicle.
* Computer literacy – efficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems.
Desirable qualities include experience with clients with dual diagnoses, forensic disability, or forensic mental health (not essential), willingness to travel to rural and remote areas by car, 4WD, or light aircraft, experience with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and a passion for indigenous advancement, and experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse individuals and their support networks.
Remuneration and other benefits
* Salary for Support Coordinators ranging from $75,000-$95,000 +Super, depending on qualifications and experience.
* Salary for Specialist Support Coordinators ranging from $80,000-$ Super, depending on qualifications and experience.
