About Us
Catholic Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn Education Limited (CECG) operates in the ACT and NSW, supporting 56 Schools and nine Early Learning Centres (ELCs).

The Catholic Education Office (CEO) provides corporate services to the CECG system of schools, ELCs and the CEO through several service areas including Education and Performance Improvement, Catholic Identity, School and Family Services, Strategy and Special Projects, Finance and Infrastructure, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and People and Culture.

About The Role
The Early Learning Assistant Manager will work closely with the General Manager - Early Learning to maintain the smooth running of our ELC's within the Archdiocese. This position will provide leadership, guidance, and support to the ELC directors through their work with the general manager to deliver high quality education to all children within our care. Work with the wider ELC team and other service areas to ensure strong performance and sustainability across all of our ELCs.

Key Responsibilities Of The Role Include

* Provide support for ELC Directors in setting professional goals and goals for the ELC.
* Support and contribute to the implementation of the ELC strategic plan to establish the efficient and effective operation of ELCs as a core element of Catholic Education.
* Undertake quarterly service wide quality and compliance audits aligned to the NQF. Ensure strategies are implemented to improve quality and compliance.
* Provide regular updates regarding QIP, operational matters and staffing to the ELC management team.
* Acquit ELC Director credit card expenditure.

Qualifications

* Bachelor of Education Early Childhood or equivalent and ongoing professional development.
* ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) registration (or willingness to obtain).
* Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration and Working With Children Check (WWCC)
* Current Drivers Licence.
