The Opportunity
We are seeking an Intermediate Civil Engineer to join our multidisciplinary water team in Newcastle.
You will have experience in the design engineering of water and wastewater treatment plants, reservoirs, pump stations and conveyance pipelines.
You will build strong client relationships and demonstrate your ability to understand our client's core business.

Your ideal skills and expertise include:
1. Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or closely related engineering discipline
2. A minimum of 3 years' experience in water and wastewater treatment and/or conveyance design
3. Knowledge of safety in design, constructability and operational practices and relevant Australian standards and WSAA codes
4. Knowledge of risk management with the ability to identify project and design related risks
5. Experience in managing small to medium engineering design projects
6. A commitment to working safely, and within the company's HSEQ systems
7. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to collaborate across a multidisciplinary team
8. Well-developed written and verbal communication skills to interact with a broad range of audiences
