About This Role
This role is for a Sales Representative who will be responsible for driving profitable sales growth by developing strategic relationships with customers, providing exceptional service and information, selling solutions and opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
* Establish new and existing customer connections to discuss their needs via regular visits and communication channels, explaining how these needs can be met through our products and services.
* Answer customers' questions about products, pricing, availability, product uses and credit terms, providing prompt and accurate responses.
* Quote prices, credit terms and other bid specifications, ensuring transparency and clarity.
* Highlight product features based on analyses of customers' needs, and on technical knowledge of product capabilities and limitations.
* Negotiate prices and terms of sales within approved policy parameters.
Requirements
* A minimum of 3-5 years proven record of successful field sales experience and profitable growth in a similar industry (manufacturing, metals, engineered products, construction materials).
* Experience in selling to wholesalers and direct to projects, with a focus on building strong customer relationships.
* Ability to sell on differentiation and solution selling, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities.
