Overview
Locum Hospital Dietitian required for a hospital based in North Queensland. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team of 30 allied health staff. Ideally you will have at least 2 years clinical experience and experience working in an acute hospital setting. Paediatric experience is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
* Provide dietetics services to inpatient adult and paediatric wards and ED; outpatient adults and paediatrics. Caseloads can be discussed pending experience and will be split between the clinicians.
* Support junior clinicians as required in a rural generalist setting.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and participate in credentialing before commencement.
Qualifications
* A minimum of three years experience in dietetics is required; ideally includes experience in an acute hospital setting.
* Paediatric experience is highly desirable.
Remuneration and Logistics
* Hours: Monday to Friday, 7.5 hours per day with 1 hour unpaid break.
* Accommodation can be provided for the length of the contract.
* Up to $1000 (incl. GST) travel reimbursement to the site.
* Locum rates up to $72 per hour depending on experience, plus superannuation, plus travel allowance and free accommodation.
* Working in a rural generalist role and able to provide support to junior clinicians as required.
