Access Network Engineering Role Overview
The ASE Team is responsible for designing, testing, researching, and sustaining next-generation access network technologies.
* Provide technical support for issues impacting new service development and deployment over Comcast's DOCSIS network.
* Validate and troubleshoot problems identified during lab testing or via field escalations, driving issues to resolution.
This work includes utilizing lab test equipment for RF, DOCSIS, and network impairment measurements.
Produce, review, and coach junior engineers on detailed design work, SMOP creation, and operations execution of complex changes across converged environments.
