IT Support Analyst

Omnicom Media Group is looking for an IT Support Analyst to join our vibrant team based in Sydney. You will be working with the OMG Australia community and its employees to deliver IT related services and support. On a day-to-day basis you will report to the Helpdesk Manager and IT Director.

**Details regarding this role**:
This role will provide first and second level desktop support which includes responding to open trouble tickets logged to the help desk, visiting user work areas, installing new machines, and moving machines. This role provides daily end user support and administration of user computing resources through demonstrated use of analytical and problem solving skills.
**The core responsibilities of the IT Support Analyst include**:
- Provides technical support troubleshooting, configuring, installing and deploying laptops, printers, IP phones, computer peripherals and mobile devices
- Maintain superior relationships with customers and stakeholders including communication of support and projects
- Maintain documentation of the IT environment both local and in branch offices
- Enforce internal systems, policy and procedures to ensure the highest levels of efficiency and quality of service is provided
- Contribute to the achievement of delivery and productivity targets
- Maintain Asset management procedures by ensuring assets are recorded, tracked and managed in line with the corporate IT policy
- Effectively managing the user Lifecyle of incoming/outgoing employees in line with corporate standards and policy
- Ensuring a professional standard is maintained for equipment, cabling and facilities
- Ensuring operating environments are updated and patched at all times in line with IT policy
- Ensuring all presentation facilities in meeting rooms and common areas are in a neat, working and professional state
**About your skills and experience**:
- Previous 1-2 years' experience in a similar role, working in a helpdesk team
- Demonstrable experience working in Windows, audio visual systems, helpdesk ticket systems, networking, Citrix and Microsoft Office environments
- Ability to quickly analyse problems, interpret operational needs, and resolve or escalate problems in a timely manner
- Ability to work under high pressure situations calmly
- Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team to ensure effective delivery of support services
- Ability to think outside the status quo and identify ideas to improve and uplift processes and procedures
- Motivated to learn and develop new skill sets
